Pradeep Kumar Rawat will be the new Ambassador of India to China
The tension between India and China in eastern Ladakh has not subsided. Meanwhile, New Delhi has appointed Pradeep Kumar Rawat as the country’s new ambassador to Beijing.

On Monday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a press release regarding his appointment. Pradeep Kumar Rawat also speaks Mandarin i.e. Chinese language – understands that after the appointment of Rawat, his knowledge of Mandarin is being highlighted prominently.
Rawat was earlier India’s ambassador to the Netherlands and will now replace Vikram Mistry in China. Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Mistry’s three-year term ended in this month, Rawat’s appointment is being done in China when relations between the two countries are historically bad.
