Kovid vaccination of 1583 citizens took place on Friday
District Immunization Officer Dr. Nalini Goud informed that a total of 1583 beneficiaries were vaccinated against Kovid at 139 vaccination centers in the district on Friday, January 28.
In which a total of 308 doses were taken today in the prevention dose which started from January 10, which includes health, front line workers and co-morbid citizens of 60 plus age.
Health care and front line workers enthusiastically took the precautionary dose and citizens of 60 plus age also got the vaccination done after consulting the doctor. 481 children in the age group of 15 to 18 years were vaccinated. Along with this, 794 citizens got their second dose done and completed their protective cover.
Media in-charge Sunil Sahu informed that till the evening of January 28, a total of 18,91,859 Kovid doses have been taken in the district, in which the first dose is 9,79,370, the second dose is 9,00,313 and the precaution dose is 12176. No beneficiary has suffered any adverse effect after vaccination.
