Kisan Khet Pathshala was organized by the Agriculture Department at various places.Collector Shri Singh while addressing the farmers at Kisan Khet Pathshala said that the nature of farming has been different in different periods. 100 years ago, when there was a lack of means of irrigation, then farmers used to live their life in limited production by doing only rain based farming.

Today’s farmer is using chemical fertilizers in large quantities for maximum production from his field, which is not good for the health of the soil in terms of fertility. There is also a limit to the production capacity of the soil. The use of chemical fertilizers in large quantities is like small nuclear explosions for manda which harm the fertility of our soil.

Where did Collector Shri Singh say that we have to understand our responsibility towards the future generation also.

Keeping in mind the future generation, farmers should use organic farming as well as chemical fertilizers in balanced quantity. Collector Mr. Singh said that there are farmers in the district who have set a better example by not burning the Narwai, but by managing it better. Such farmers should also share their experiences with other farmers and motivate them not to burn Narwai.
