Awareness Program under National Voters’ Day.

In the largest democratic country, an Awareness Program was organized under the National Voters’ Day to inform the voters about the importance of their vote.
State level brand ambassador of Sweep Icon and Sense activities Ms. Sarikagharu informed about the valuable rights of such youth who are getting voting rights on attaining the age of 18 years.
In the Awareness Program, Sarika also informed about the purpose of National Voters’ Day on January 25. In case of any amendment in the name and address of the voter list he was motivated to update it. Told the value of vote in democracy with the help of song, EVM model and poster.
Sarika told that the Election Commission was established on 25 January in 1950. That is why January 25 is celebrated as National Voters’ Day. It was started in 2011 by the then President Smt. Pratibha Devi Patil.
