The arrangements made by the state government to deal with the possible third wave of corona were appreciated in the review meeting of the Union Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Prabhuram Choudhary attended the review meeting and informed about the arrangements made by the state government to deal with the third wave of corona.
Health Minister Dr. Chaudhary said that there are a total of 8 thousand 606 active cases of corona in the state. He told that about 70 thousand tests are being done daily. Of the total infected, 96 percent are in home isolation and only 4 percent of the infected are hospitalized.
Health Minister Dr. Chaudhary informed that Kovid Care Centers have been set up in every district. Adequate arrangements have been made for treatment in the hospitals. There are 29 thousand 428 oxygen supported 19 thousand 552 general and 12 thousand 712 ICU, HDU beds in the hospitals. 204 oxygen plants have been set up in the state. All plants are functional. 16 thousand 289 oxygen concentrators are available in the state hospitals. Minister Dr. Chaudhary also gave information regarding the arrangement of oxygen supply in the state. He said that the situation is under control at present.
