3 thousand rupees pension will be available after 60 years in the Prime Minister Shramyogi Maandhan Yojana
Keeping in view the social security of the unorganized workers by the Central Government, the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Pension Scheme has been started by the Union Labor Ministry. Under this scheme, all the unorganized sector workers in the age group of 18 to 40 years, whose monthly income is less than 15 thousand, will be eligible for this scheme.
For enrollment under this scheme, workers in the age group of 18 to 40 years will have to deposit Rs 55 to 200 as premium and the same amount will be deposited by the Ministry of Labor, Government of India, in which 50 percent of the premium amount, Government of India, Ministry of Labor will be borne by
On attaining 60 years of age, the insured person will get Rs 3,000 as pension. Life Insurance Corporation of India has been authorized to operate this scheme.
The workers interested in this scheme can enroll themselves by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (Kiosk) to get the benefits of the scheme.
At the time of enrollment, the worker will have to compulsorily give Aadhar card and bank account number.
According to the age group of the worker, the first installment of premium of Rs 55 to 200 will be deposited in cash in the Common Service Center.
